Pronotum with a deeply indented furrow each side towards the base which connects the basal border with the furrow running along the side; the base between these furrows is not bordered [Abb.2]. Upper surface with a blue sheen; antennae and legs red. Elytra with complete, deeply incised striae. Disc of the pronotum smooth, with punctures towards the base. 5-6 mm. Aedeagus [Abb.3].
