#1 Length 2.0-2.9 mm. Head in males completely dull without discernible punctures at x50 magnification; head in females rather shining. Antennae inserted closer to the eyes than to one another. Antennae longer than in brevicornis, the segments scarcely broader than long; segments 7-10 in males clearly asymmetric [fig.1]. Inner edge of the hind femora with a species-specific arrangement of hairs [fig.2]. Aedeagus [fig.3]. Known from Sweden and Finland with only a few records from Central Europe - Moravia, Rhineland and north-east Lower Saxony. (End of June).
